1. Platform Operator

DoctorsInKorea.com is a trademark platform fully owned and operated by:

Hayya Med Artificial Intelligence is a healthcare technology company operating in Korea. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hayya Med Artificial Intelligence.

2. Service Description

DoctorsInKorea.com provides:

• A healthcare discovery platform enabling patients to search for and connect with doctors, clinics, and hospitals in Korea
• An AI-powered healthcare navigation assistant (Hayya Med AI) that helps users identify relevant specialties and providers
• Appointment booking facilitation between patients and healthcare providers
• AI-powered growth and management tools for licensed healthcare providers (clinics, hospitals)
• A medical procurement marketplace for healthcare suppliers and buyers

Hayya Med Artificial Intelligence is a technology intermediary — not a healthcare provider, medical institution, or licensed medical practitioner.

3. AI Medical Disclaimer

• All AI outputs are informational only and do not replace a consultation with a licensed physician
• Hayya Med AI is not a registered medical device under Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) regulations
• Symptom descriptions you enter are used to match you with relevant specialties — they are not analysed for clinical diagnosis
• In a medical emergency, call Korea Emergency Services: 119
• Always consult a qualified, licensed medical professional for health decisions

By using the AI assistant, you acknowledge and accept that AI outputs do not constitute medical advice and Hayya Med AI bears no clinical responsibility for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.

4. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or make a booking on your own behalf
• Users under 18 may use the platform only with explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf
• Healthcare providers must hold a valid license from Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) or equivalent authorisation
• By using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

5. User Obligations

By using DoctorsInKorea.com, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful personal and health information
• Not impersonate any person, organisation, or healthcare provider
• Not use the platform to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content
• Not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit platform data or AI models
• Not misuse the platform to make fraudulent bookings or false reviews
• Comply with all applicable Korean laws, including those relating to healthcare and data protection

Hayya Med AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these obligations without prior notice.

6. Bookings & Healthcare Provider Relationships

DoctorsInKorea.com facilitates connections between patients and healthcare providers. When you book an appointment through the platform:

• The booking is a direct agreement between you and the healthcare provider — Hayya Med AI is not a party to that agreement
• Hayya Med AI does not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of any medical service
• All listed doctors and clinics are independently licensed and are solely responsible for the medical care they provide
• Provider listings have been verified at the time of listing but we cannot guarantee continuous accuracy — always confirm your appointment directly with the provider

7. Cancellation Policy

• Patients may cancel or reschedule a booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, free of charge
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee at the healthcare provider's discretion
• No-shows without prior notice may result in loss of the booking fee where applicable
• Healthcare providers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to emergencies, with reasonable notice provided where possible

Cancellation and rescheduling terms specific to each clinic or hospital are displayed at the time of booking.

8. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are processed securely via a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor
• DoctorsInKorea.com does not store card details on its servers
• Booking fees where charged are clearly displayed before confirmation
• Refund eligibility is determined by the individual clinic or hospital's refund policy, displayed at the time of booking
• Platform subscription fees paid by healthcare providers are non-refundable except where required by Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
• For payment disputes, contact us at legal@hayyamed.com within 30 days of the transaction

9. Clinic & Doctor Listings

• All clinic and doctor profiles are subject to verification by Hayya Med AI before going live
• We reserve the right to remove or modify listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) regulations
• Featured placement, AI tools, and advanced analytics are subject to subscription terms agreed upon at registration
• Clinics are responsible for keeping their listed information — including opening hours, insurance acceptance, and doctor availability — current and accurate
• Hayya Med AI may display user reviews alongside listings. Reviews are moderated for spam but are not independently verified for medical accuracy

10. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, AI models, brand names, design elements, and software on DoctorsInKorea.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Hayya Med Artificial Intelligence, protected under the laws of Korea and applicable international intellectual property conventions.

You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the platform, its AI models, or its content without prior written authorisation from Hayya Med AI.

Healthcare providers retain ownership of their own content (logos, descriptions, clinical information) but grant Hayya Med AI a non-exclusive licence to display and index that content on the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Korean law:

• Hayya Med AI provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
• We are not liable for any medical outcome, injury, or harm resulting from bookings or medical care provided by listed healthcare providers
• AI-generated content (symptom navigation, recommendations) is provided without clinical warranty — we are not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Korea.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@hayyamed.com to seek an amicable resolution. We will respond within 14 business days.

13. Changes to These Terms

Hayya Med AI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
• Registered users will be notified by email at least 14 days before changes take effect
• For changes that materially affect your rights, we will seek your renewed acceptance

Continued use of the platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
